Each of these uses a player from its own store, or no player at all. They are often the easiest option in a place you do not control.
Samsung and LG televisions
Nothing to sideload. Take a player from the television store in your country and hand it your details. This is the route for a set in a furnished flat.

Apple does not permit installers from outside its store, so you use an App Store player. Any country store is fine, including the one you had before you moved.

The most common message we get from someone on their first night in a new country is that the app will not install. It is almost always one of the three things below, and all three are far easier to sort out on a connection you trust.
- Android and Fire TV need installs from unknown sources switched on before anything will run. Our guides show exactly where that setting hides on each.
- Windows may warn about an unrecognised publisher. Choose More info, then Run anyway, and it installs normally.
- A player with no subscription shows an empty list, not an error. Have your details from the account page open before you start.
- Sign in once at home so the channel list is cached. It then opens far faster on hotel or airport Wi-Fi.
