What can we sort out for you?
Most of it is answered below, written out properly rather than in one line. If yours is not here, message us and say roughly what time you are usually free, because we would rather reach you in your evening than ours.
Install on a device
Six guides, each written for somebody doing this in a flat they have just moved into.
Guide showing wrong times
Almost always the device time zone. Two settings and it is right again.
Buffering on hotel Wi-Fi
How to tell in two minutes whether the room is workable or hopeless.
Renew without changing anything
Extend the line you have, keep the same details on every device.
Everything people ask us
Will Strong 8K World work in the country I have moved to?
In almost every case, yes. The subscription is delivered over ordinary internet traffic rather than a satellite footprint or a national broadcaster licence, so it is not tied to the country you signed up from. Customers watch from across Europe, the Gulf, North America, Australia, South East Asia and West Africa on the same lines they set up somewhere else. The only real requirement is a connection that can hold a steady stream, which most home broadband and a great many hotel connections can.
Can I take my subscription with me when I travel?
Yes, and there is nothing to switch on before you go. Your login is not registered to an address, a router or a country, so the same details that work on the television at home work on a laptop in a rented flat two thousand miles away. Install a player on whatever you are travelling with, sign in once before you leave so you know it works, and it will pick up again wherever you land.
Which languages and regions are actually included?
Every plan carries the full line-up, which spans English, Arabic, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Italian, Turkish, Urdu, Hindi, Bengali, Dutch, Polish, Romanian and the Nordic languages, among others. That covers general entertainment, news, sport, film, documentary and channels for children from each region. There is no premium tier keeping anything back, because there is only ever one tier.
What is the region I pick at checkout actually doing?
It changes the running order of your channel list and nothing else. Choosing Europe puts the UK, Irish, German, French, Italian and Spanish groups at the top. Choosing Arabic puts the Gulf and North African groups there instead. You still receive everything either way. The point is that you open the app and your own channels are the first thing on screen rather than several thousand entries down. Ask us to reorder it later and we will, at no cost.
Do I need a VPN?
Most people do not, and we would rather you tried without one first because a VPN adds a hop and can cost you a little speed. Where it genuinely helps is on connections that interfere with sustained video, which is common on some hotel networks, some university halls, and with a handful of internet providers who shape streaming traffic in the evening. If your picture is fine at breakfast and unwatchable at nine at night, that is the pattern a VPN usually cures.
How does the programme guide handle time zones?
The guide is delivered with proper timestamps and your player converts them to the clock on your device. A programme that airs at eight in the evening in London will appear at ten in the evening if your tablet is set to Gulf time. If the times look wrong by exactly a whole number of hours, the device clock is almost always set to the wrong zone or stuck on manual, and correcting that in the device settings fixes the whole guide at once.
Can my family watch in one country while I watch in another?
Yes, but each person watching at the same moment needs their own device slot. Choose the number of slots at checkout and you get a separate set of details for each one, which you can hand to a parent in another country without giving away your own login. They expire on the same date, so there is one renewal to remember rather than several.
How soon after paying can I actually watch?
Usually inside two minutes, whatever the hour where you are. Activation is triggered by the payment confirmation rather than by a person, so ordering at three in the morning your time works exactly the same as ordering at midday. The same details land on the confirmation page and in your inbox at once. Where a bank pauses a payment for its own checks, the line opens the moment that pause ends.
Which devices can I use?
Anything that speaks Xtream Codes, M3U or a MAG portal, which is most of what people travel with or buy locally. Amazon Fire TV sticks, Android phones, tablets and boxes, Google TV devices, Samsung and LG televisions, iPhones, iPads and Apple TV, Windows and Mac laptops, and MAG or Formuler set-top boxes. If a shop in your new city sells a streaming stick, it will almost certainly run a compatible player.
What happens at the end of my subscription?
The line stops on its expiry date and nothing renews by itself, which matters if you are moving again or your card is about to be replaced by a local one. Renewing from your account keeps the same details, so no device needs touching. We send a reminder ahead of the date, and we send it to the email address you ordered with rather than a phone number that may have changed with your country.
Message a person, not a queue
Three details turn a week of back and forth into one reply: your order number, the device you are using, and the country you are in. The third matters more than people expect, because a connection in one place behaves nothing like a connection in another, and the fix for a hotel is never the fix for a home line.
